We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Patching Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and upgrading the Microsoft SCCM Platform and managing vulnerabilities. Proficiency in using Qualys for vulnerability management is highly preferred. Additionally, strong skills in PowerShell Development and PowerBI are appreciated.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's SCCM infrastructure to ensure its health and maximum availability.Develop, implement, and manage patch management processes for Windows servers to ensure timely application of security patches and updates.Create, deploy, and maintain configuration baselines.Implement and manage vulnerability management processes using Qualys, ensuring all identified vulnerabilities are remediated promptly.Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency and reliability.Utilize PowerBI to create reports and dashboards for monitoring and analyzing patch management and vulnerability data.Troubleshoot SCCM agent-related issues and ensure the successful deployment of patches.Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless operation and support across our infrastructure.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, recommending improvements where necessary.Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support to ensure the timely deployment of patches and resolution of critical issues.Identify, diagnose, and resolve system problems, and oversee these processes within the team.Mandatory Skills:Extensive experience with Microsoft SCCM Platform.Strong knowledge of patch management processes and best practices.Proficiency in using Qualys for vulnerability management.Experience with PowerShell Development.Proficiency in PowerBI for data analysis and reporting.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly with SCCM agent-related issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Desired Skills:Experience of Cloud Management Gateway.Experience with cloud-based resources in AWS and Azure.Knowledge of other endpoint management tools like IBM BigFix, Tanium, Qualys, etc.Familiarity with Windows Server environments, including Windows Server 2019 and 2022.Experience with VMware platforms.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.Relevant certifications in SCCM, Qualys, PowerShell, or related technologies are a plus.
