We are a dynamic and diverse team on a recurring multi-year program.THE WORKHere you will work with a multifunctional team of experts leading the way in flight training system sustainment and development. In this fast-paced environment, you'll draw on your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to solve problems and be a contributing member of a highly skilled Agile program. The primary function will be to organize, install, and maintain discrete classified networks supporting the AFSOC air crew training program.WHO YOU AREThe successful candidate will coordinate with internal and external customers as needed to meet contract objectives. This individual will be responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of network architecture, administration of network applications and ensures network devices are maintained to optimize connectivity and throughput.Basic Qualifications:Demonstrated experience with CISCO ASA Firewalls and ACLsPossess knowledge of IP network/subnet addressing and be able to maintain networks that are high performing, fault-tolerant, and secureHave a strong background in network security as defined by DISA STIGs or similar Information Assurance (IA) requirements and cybersecurity controlsCurrent/Active CompTIA Security+ Certification (e.g., DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification or higher)*US Citizenship is required. Candidate must be able to obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.Desired Skills:Solid OSI Layer 3 knowledge: VPNs, VRFs, and routing protocols such as EIGRP and BGPExperience with network management tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Works & Brocade Fabric OSExperience with various H.323 type technologies such as VOIP, VTC, GatekeepersExperience in a distributed simulation or learning environment and capable of configuring and troubleshooting WAN connectionsEncryption device / COMSEC experienceCurrent CCNA certificationCreation of diagrams using VisioVirtualizationSecurity Clearance Statement:
