Job Summary The Laminator Operator is responsible for adhesive laminating two or more substrates together, providing customers with quality products in a timely manner. Duties and ResponsibilitiesRUN MACHINEPut material on/off unwindsPut correct amount of yards in In-Process rollCheck cut widths at shift change and changeoversProperly flag defective materialMaintain SOP/MOP specificationsStack empty skids and discard raw material packingAlong with other additional tasks to complete an orderADMINISTRATIVEFill out daily Job Reports and enter daily productionsPrint next production orderverifying order and ticket numbersCall out next job in the system for Changeover.Accurately post raw material usage.COMMUNICATION: -Communicate with crew on shift -Communicate with crews before and after shift -Communicate with ink room -Communicate with plant personnel: material handler mechanics electricians lab supervisor. -Know where crew is at all times.QUALITY:Visually inspect machine from front to backCheck material running for defectsGMP: Maintain a clean and tidy work area.SAFETY: Wearing the proper PPE and adhering to all safety protocolsThe Company maintains the right to revise and/or add duties in response to business requirements.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Successful Completion of Reading & Math Test.Successful Completion of IVO certification training. ( Industrial Vehicle Operator )Successful Completion of JSA reading.
