Position Summary

The Senior Banker conducts all retail financial transactions, cross sells bank products, and services clients with the goal of providing exceptional customer service, financial support, and deepening community relationships.

The right person for this role is technologically savvy and will have operational responsibilities including opening and closing the branch, lobby support and core system supervisory override authority.

Primary ResponsibilitiesConsistently provide quality customer service by demonstrating our service/sales relationship building behaviorsAbility to evaluate and identify financial needs and present appropriate products/services to meet these needs.Opens new accounts and related products/services: debit card, direct deposit, etc.Processes all financial transactions.Serves as a point person to answer internal and external inquiries on the topic of bank products and services, transactions, and policies and procedures.Possess the ability to identify customers' financial needs and cross-sell bank products and services to meet those needs, while advising customers on promotional products and services.Process incoming mail transactions and night deposits.Involved with daily proof of the ATM, replenish cash using dual controls. Ensure the ATM is in working order and adequate supplies are available for customer use.Additional Responsibilities

Engage in branch activities planned by Branch Management.Practice behaviors that are focused on achieving individual and team goals.Participates in business development efforts.Assist branch management and/or conduct monthly audits, certifications, proofs, reconciliations, filing, scanning, and other duties as assigned as outlined in the Policy and Procedures.Competently and confidently teach self-service options to customers.Assist in other areas of the bank/branch as assigned.Minimum Job Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent

AND

a minimum of 2 years of banking experienceRetail experience with an emphasis on sales and customer serviceCollege degree preferred.Effective communication, interpersonal skills, customer service and sales skills.Must have the ability to work flexible hours and travel to various branch locations as staffing requires, for unspecified periods.Bilingual in Spanish preferredMust have the ability to work independently.
