- Develop an in-depth understanding of the current and future state of the Company’s Retail focused ERP system (“Crown360 Retail”) to record, verify, and provide accounting related data in a meaningful manner. Understand how the Retail ERP application works to facilitate transition from existing ERPs to the Company’s global solution. As appropriate, develop an understanding of new and existing reports by investigating the user’s needs, researching to identify system processes to provide the desired output data, and be prepared to provide training on how to review and evaluate financial transactions within the system. Support the deployment of Crown360 Retail within the US and internationally as well when appropriate. Provide guidance on the multiple attributes of financial statement transactions to improve research and reporting capabilities. Support process improvement initiatives from a data maintenance perspective to improve internal processes and/or management reporting.Technical Knowledge Support
- Monitor internal developments regarding technological changes in the Company’s Information Technology (IT) environment to ensure practices are implemented across the organization. Understand, evaluate, and support the implementation of financial Accounting systems in coordination with the Company’s Information Technology (IT) team. Provide application support to Accounting and other departments. Provide input for programming changes requested from Accounting and other departments and work with IT on changes.Miscellaneous
- Assist in special financial and business-related studies and cooperate with other departments in the preparation of analyses. Available to assist management with special projects. Perform other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications:4-6 years' related experiencePreferred Qualifications:Two plus years’ experience transitioning from one ERP system to another working with complex data sources and identifying relevant underlying data relationships that drive business value. Experience with system deployments and post system implementation issue resolution. Good written, verbal, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Keen understanding of business objectives and ability to apply this understanding to recommend and implement reporting solutions. Good problem-solving skills along with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated analytical and statistical skills, including a detailed working knowledge of business intelligence systems and database tools. Participate in a variety of financial accounting related activities to move projects forward and to objectively analyze accounting processes and systems as well as financial statement risks. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Work Authorization:Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
