Controller (manufacturing)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:•Hands on general accounting activities including AP, AR, General Ledger, Payroll, Policy Development, Compliance, and Inventory controls/Costing.•Leads the accounting transition to Infor Cloude Suite ERP.•Interfaces with the Platform management on key compliances, reporting, business establishment and integration activities.•Responsible for all financial reports, within monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing cycles. Processes to include reporting of actual results, monthly forecasting, and annual budgeting.•Prepares monthly results analysis and reporting package for PE Staff.•Post all required journal entries, performs balance sheet reconciliation (including cash).•Prepares payroll thru ADP and utilizes Avalara for Tax Compliance.•Evaluates, recommends, develops, and implements policies, procedures, and systems to optimize Company performance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:•5+ years accounting experience. BS Degree in relevant field•In person preferred. Hybrid potential.•Able to manage multiple deadlines while supporting business leaders.•Experience in implementing new ERP systems•Infor CSI ERP experience preferred but not required•Strong interpersonal skills. Effective team player•Working knowledge of GAAP. Inventory costing knowledge preferred.•Expert verbal and written communication. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and team.
