Controller
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial and operational performance of the business. This includes financial analysis, preparing statements, managing the general ledger, and assisting with office management and HR responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and the ability to analyze inter-company transactions.
Requirements:Strong background in Accounting or Finance.In-depth knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and accrual-based accounting.Experience with general ledger account management.Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online).Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.Must know QuickBooks OnlineEssential Functions:
Manage the monthly close process, including reviewing vendor invoices and credit memos.Prepare quarterly financial statements with analysis of sales and payroll taxes.Handle monthly payroll taxes and general ledger reconciliations.Process monthly bank deposits and perform related reconciliations.Execute month-end close procedures, including bank reconciliation, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.Reconcile inter-company transactions monthly.Assist with annual audit planning and execution for the fiscal year.Manage HR and office administrative functions, including employee onboarding, benefits management, and state-level business registrations.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
