Description
As a
Production Coordinator at Impulse , you are responsible for serving as a liaison between all ancillary input and output organizations to ensure that components and assemblies flow smoothly through the production areas to meet stringent deadlines and quality standards.
ResponsibilitiesCreate and fulfill inventory requests based on demand and production scheduleInterface with supply chain, engineers, and technicians on the release of work ordersSupport production and inventory personnel with "return to stock", replacement parts, and inventory purge actionsReconciliation of work order bill of material quantitiesMonitor, track, and move parts as required through the company to ensure timely delivery to next production locationPush/pull physical movement of parts through receiving inspection, stock areas, purchasing, production resources or any applicable work centerCommunicate part status and estimated completion dates to leadership upon requestSupport management of material certifications as required to prevent the use of uncertified materialsVerify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantity, and revisions prior to release of work orders to productionCreate and improve systems used to keep components organizedCoordinate off-site processing of parts to ensure on-time deliveryWork with the planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure our MRP/ERP data is and remains clean and accurateEnsure parts are handled and protected properly and within specificationsAssist with resolution of incorrect system data which is driving inappropriate demand, schedules, or could result in general failureSupport team members to meet rate and quality targets at each workstation, and promote continuous flow by communicating blockers and reporting downtime to supervisors and specialistsDevelop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints as requiredAssist production leadership and project teams with action item updatesSupport projects or productivity development activities within the manufacturing teamUpdate and utilize metrics to drive results as applicable with production personnelOrganize and maintain the physical and electronic library for production related tooling and calibration database
Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate3+ years of supply chain, inventory or manufacturing experience
Preferred Skills and Experience5+ years of experience in space, electronics, automotive, or other high-volume manufacturingExcellent computer skills (Email, Microsoft Windows, ERP/MRP/MES systems, iOS, Executing Custom Developed Software)Proficiency of MRP/ERP systemsExperience in aerospace, automotive, electronic manufacturing environmentExperience with SQL, python or programmingBachelor's degree

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the
form of stock options , and access to
medical, vision & dental coverage
as well as
access to a 401(k) retirement plan .
