As an
Operations Systems Lead at Impulse
you will oversee the ERP implementation, develop systems that enable efficient operations, cost tracking, financial reporting and scalable growth.
ResponsibilitiesLead ERP project implementation and be the main liaison between outside consultant and the company. Be the project owner who works with a structured support team within the company, including steering committee, and core implementation teamBuild and adapt processes across essential stages of Product Development (Concept to Launch), Resource Planning & Inventory Management, Supply Chain Coordination, Production Optimization, Quality Assurance, and Design Iteration. Ensure these workflows are efficient and accessible, meeting the unique needs of an engineering-dominant team with minimal complexityWork closely with our engineering team (95% of our staff) to create a system that fits their workflow needs without unnecessary ERP complexitiesCollaborate with executive leadership and project stakeholders to establish measurable KPIs that reflect ERP implementation goals, such as user adoption rates, system response times, data accuracy, process efficiency improvements, and adherence to budget and timeline constraintsEstablish systems for Cost Analysis and Margin Tracking, essential for informed decision-making and profitability as production scales. Incorporating Month End close process and ultimately financial reporting that can withstand outside auditDevelop and implement change strategies to foster a smooth ERP rollout, supporting a positive transition and future-focused operational culturePost-implementation, support continuous system improvements to keep pace with company growth, evolving needs, and industry best practicesMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field5+ years of demonstrated experience with ERP implementations, ideally with SyteLine or similar ERP systems, in a high-tech or engineering environmentDemonstrated success in managing ERP projects end-to-end, including budget oversight, timeline management, and cross-functional team coordinationStrong understanding of resource planning, inventory management, and costing principles, particularly within a manufacturing or aerospace contextPreferred Skills and Experience
8+ years' of overall ERP implementation experience; specifically utilizing SyteLineFor non-engineering backgrounds, an MBA or master's degree or equivalent experience is preferredExperience in startup or agile settings, ideally with engineering or technical teamsStrong ability to simplify complex systems and drive user adoptionExcellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across technical and business areas
Additional Information:
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the
form of stock options , and access to
medical, vision & dental coverage
as well as
access to a 401(k) retirement plan .
