We are seeking a skilled Systems Manager to manage and enhance our cloud infrastructure and IT systems. This role involves the configuration, management, and optimization of cloud resources, ensuring the security and efficiency of operations within our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in both cloud and systems management, with a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support and maintaining robust security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

Configure, manage, and monitor server instances, databases, storage, and networking within cloud environments.

Implement and maintain cloud security measures, including firewalls, access policies, and security audits.

Optimize cloud resources for maximum performance and cost efficiency.

Systems Management:

Administer operating systems across servers and other devices, including regular updates and security patches.

Manage network configurations and settings.

Use monitoring and diagnostic tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues.

Technical Support and Service Desk:

Handle ticket management and problem resolution through the service desk.

Provide level 2 and level 3 support for complex technical issues.

Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve cross-departmental challenges.

Information Security:

Develop and enforce information security policies to protect sensitive data and systems from threats.

Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses.

Automation and Scripting:

Create scripts and automate routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

Implement automation tools for more streamlined configuration and infrastructure provisioning.

VIP User Management:

Offer personalized technical support and configuration services for VIP users.

Ensure prioritized and satisfactory resolution of VIP tech issues.

Documentation and Training:

Document IT procedures and best practices.

Provide training and guidance to users on effective use of IT systems and applications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of cloud services, operating systems, and IT security.

Experience with automation scripts and monitoring tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
