Electromechanical Assembler

Job Description

Electro-Mechanical Assembler (level III) needed for electronics manufacturer in Santa Ana, CA. 1st shift 7am-3:30pm (flexible start time between 7am-9am). Pay will be between $28-$32 an hour and based on experience.

Ideal Skills

Mechanical and solder assembly of complex RF and DC assemblies

J-STD-001 certification (a plus)

Ability to assemble RF cables per assembly drawings

Ability to troubleshoot RF and DC circuits to component level

Ability to use RF test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Frequency Counters, Function Generators)

Ability to kit assemblies from stock room using pick list supplied by Operations Manager

Ability to follow AS9100 procedures

Assemble electro/mechanical assemblies using calibrated hand tools per assembly drawings

Assemble harnesses per drawing using specialty tools

Testing of various PCB Assemblies using electronic test equipment (DMM, Function Generators, etc.)

Incoming inspection of electrical/mechanical parts per drawing

Testing of electro/mechanical assemblies per Acceptance Test Procedures

Tuning/Testing of RF assemblies using RF test equipment noted above

Assembly of fiber optic assemblies to include Single Mode and Polarization Maintaining fiber splicing

Testing of fiber optic assemblies using fiber optic test equipment (OTDR, Optical Power Meter, etc.)

Calibration of system level parts using custom software and RF test equipment per calibration instructions

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Santa Ana, California.

Work Environment

60 employees, manufacturing environment- mostly all assembly/soldering/qc departments.
