Weekend/Holiday: every 3rd weekendOn Call/Call Back : Variable Call required; 30-min response time
Requirements:IA licenseMinimum 2 years in specialty areaRequired Skillset: Ability to work independently in Labor & Delivery, Post-partumBLSACLSNRPMinimum of Intermediate Fetal Heart MonitoringPrevious experience working in Critical Access Hospital beneficialPrevious charge experience is requiredEPIC charting experience preferred
Other details:Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 25 – bed Critical Access Hospital. 4 LDRP, 1 – post-partum/c-section prep.Average Daily Census:
Average 85 – 90 deliveries per year.Nurse to Patient Ratio: OB – (Low risk) 1:1 active labor, 1:2 for early labor, post-partum (couplets) up to 1:3 (1:3 is a rare occurrence), CNAs work both shiftsScrub colors: OB Scrubs are provided by the hospital
