Job Details Position / Specialty: Telemetry RN Shift: 3x12 Nights (1845-0715) Average Daily Census: 25. Years of experience REQ: Minimum 1 year experience required. Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend (Fri/Sat for night shift, Sat/Sun for day shift) Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. Job Requirements First-timers accepted: Yes. Certs REQ: BLS required. ACLS and NIH preferred. Is on-call REQ? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes- will float to like units (MS/Cardiac). Not IMC/ICU. Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule request with manager. Must have active IL license in hand to apply or be in application process with ETA. RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Required Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, TR Band. Required Endocrine/Metabolic Case Skills/Experience: IV insulin protocols. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Titrate Cardiac drips. Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management. Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac.
