Description: Looking for someone with a passion for income tax provisions and tax accounting who would like to leverage and expand their ASC740 experience in an innovative technology driven manner with a leader in the aerospace and defense industry.
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:Serve as the Senior Manager of the Tax Accounting, Forecasting and External Reporting group responsible for managing a team of tax accountantsProvide guidance, support and coordination on all external reporting of income tax matters, quarterly financial reports and payments, long-range plan and tax provisionManage the federal tax cash forecasting process, including estimated tax paymentsModel tax legislation/regulations/other tax guidance that impact the Corporation's business operationsManage the consolidation process for the federal income tax returnAssist with special projectsDevelop and maintain critical relationships between Tax, Controllers, Treasury, Legal, and Business Units to ensure Tax has a well-informed view of the business operationsBasic Qualifications:At least 10 years of public accounting firm or large company tax department experienceAdvanced knowledge of and experience with tax laws and policiesAdvanced knowledge and proficiency with rules governing accounting for income taxes and SARBOXDemonstrated effectiveness in a leadership roleEffective verbal and written communication skillsContinuous learning attitude and willingness to teach othersDesired Skills:CPA and/or Master Degree in Tax, Accounting, or related disciplineAt least 5 years of public accounting firm experience strongly preferred (with majority at Big Four or large public accounting firm)6+ years experience leading teamsEffective executive presence, verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to multi-task and handle multiple prioritiesKnowledge and experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (due diligence & modeling) and Joint Venture activityExperience with Thomson Reuters OneSource, Oracle and CorptaxExperience with AI, Alteryx, dashboards and/or digital transformationsClearance Level:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $121,300 - $232,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
