Duties and responsibilities include:
Conduct & Oversee new hire orientation and initial driver training, including classroom and on-road instruction.Provide appropriate road training and observation to ensure drivers adhere to policy and training procedures and comply with key performance areas.Assess drivers based on customer service, passenger assistance, proper wheelchair/mobility aid securement, vehicle inspection, and more.Perform ride-along to observe drivers' compliance with key performance areas.Respond to accidents and incidents while reporting them appropriately.Knowledge of principles and methods for teaching and instructing adult learners and groups and measuring training effectiveness.Direct, conduct, or supervise interviewing, selection, and recruitment of adequate operator applicants to effectively provide safe, efficient service.Manage driver training and may conduct driver training, recommend retraining, and discipline as required.Plan, organize and conduct safety training and meetings.Conduct and review accident/incident investigations and complete reports, maintain complete safety files in compliance with DOT Regulations (example: accident/incident reports, I-9, bus reports, and worker compensation injury reports).Maintain or coordinate complete personnel record keeping. Maintain substance abuse file.Coordinate compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and work closely with the Regional Director of Safety (DOT/FMCSA regulation knowledge required)May need to be on a route to assist with coverageDevelop relationships with customers to communicate safety performance and compliance.Complete additional duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:
Five (5) years previous passenger transportation leadership experience

(Motorcoach/FMCSA/DOT experience preferred)Knowledge of principles and methods for teaching, coaching and instructing adult learners and groups and measuring training effectiveness.CDL License with Passenger Endorsement

Salary Range:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00
