securities/FINRA
matters and
professional liability defense
litigation.Represent clients in civil litigation cases, preparing legal documents, conducting discovery, and handling trial preparation.Provide legal counsel and representation in FINRA-related disputes, assisting clients with regulatory compliance, arbitration, and mediation processes.Draft and review complex litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client goals.Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and strategize with senior attorneys to develop strong legal arguments.Participate in settlement negotiations, client meetings, depositions, and court appearances as required.Collaborate with the litigation team to effectively manage case deadlines, filings, and trial schedules.Maintain an annual minimum of
1,900 billable hours , with the opportunity to earn additional compensation for hours exceeding this target.Work in a
hybrid schedule , allowing for a balance of in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility.Qualifications and Experience:1 to 5 years of experience in civil litigation is essential.Prior experience or familiarity with
FINRA cases
or securities litigation is highly preferred.Must be admitted to the
California State Bar
and in good standing.Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and effective time management.Strong research, writing, and communication skills, with a focus on drafting litigation documents and conducting thorough legal analysis.Prior experience working in professional liability defense cases is advantageous.Educational Background:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active and current membership with the
California State Bar .Certifications:Ongoing participation in
