PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:

To provide care for patients before and after live kidney donation. Will coordinate the evaluation of potential live kidney donors, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to determine ultimate suitability for donation. Will provide post-operative teaching and follow-up care of live kidney donors.

Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Bachelor's Degree preferredEvaluate potential live kidney donorsReview and interpret diagnostic test results, adjusting the plan of care as appropriateFacilitate continuity of care across the continuum of services, making appropriate referrals when necessaryCoordinate the pre-operative evaluation of potential live donorsProvide post-operative teaching and follow-up care for live kidney donorsnteract with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the HospitalJefferson ancillary services, Gift of Life Donor Program, United Network Organ Sharing, physician offices

Qualifications

Registered Nurse in PA

Conditions of Employment
