Handle a variety of civil defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, malpractice, and employment litigation.Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.Maintain proactive communication with clients to provide updates on case status and legal strategies.Work closely with a team of legal professionals to ensure efficient case management.Employ strategic litigation techniques to drive cases toward a favorable resolution.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and defense strategies.Requirements
Admission to the Kentucky Bar (required).Experience in civil litigation, particularly in defense practice.Proficiency in legal research tools, including Westlaw, and in drafting legal documents.Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and opposing counsel.Ability to manage a diverse caseload while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications
Active license to practice law in Kentucky (required).Skills
