General Summary:
The successful candidate will be an energetic, motivated and proven sales and business development leader who will help drive success for Qualcomm’s rapidly growing Automotive Business. In this role, you will manage one of the largest and most strategic Automotive OEM accounts for Qualcomm globally. You will be responsible for promoting the entirety of Qualcomm’s Automotive product portfolio, driving sales and business development activities to consistently exceed design win targets. This position is at the epicenter of ensuring that we execute awarded business, and secure future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the overall customer, including developing and managing relationships across the technical and commercial groups, from working level to leadership.
Maintain a deep and dynamic understanding of the customer’s business and technical objectives, strategies, and capabilities, and ensure ongoing alignment with Qualcomm Automotive business objectives.
Drive design wins for Telematics, IVI, ADAS/Autonomy, Connectivity, Cellular V2X, Car-to-Cloud, and other Automotive product lines and offerings at assigned accounts, including negotiation of pricing and commercial terms.
Incubate new business and revenue opportunities in conjunction with Automotive BU, including generating business cases and proposals for account-specific collaborations and investments.
Account management: working closely with extended Automotive BU (product management, product marketing, program management, customer engineering, development engineering, etc.), ensure that customer needs at all phases of program, from concept development to RFx to commercial deployment (SOP) and beyond are addressed.
Work closely with broader Qualcomm support organization (Legal, Contracts, Sales Operations, Customer Service, etc.), to support all aspects of the customer business cycle: NDAs, License agreements, Salesforce, Development tools, Customer support and issue resolution, Forecasting, Pricing strategy, Customer service, Production and EOL management.
Maintain sales pipeline, provide monthly forecasts, and support quarterly and annual account reviews.
Ability to travel domestically.

This is an office-based position in Novi, MI.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.
OR Associate's degree and 12+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.
OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 14+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in technology or business.
10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Product Management, or related customer-facing experience.
10+ years of experience at Auto OEM, Auto Tier1, or Semiconductor industry.
Established & deep relationships with key stakeholders at one or more large North American Auto OEM(s).
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience to develop sales and business development strategies.
Hands-on, experienced auto business professional.
Demonstrated ability to create new approaches to sell and grow revenue.
5+ years of direct experience in Telematics, In-vehicle Infotainment (IVI)/Digital Cockpit and/or ADAS/Autonomy domains within the automotive industry.
Customer engagement with auto OEMs and Tier1s at senior leadership level.
Experience selling software/services to the automotive industry.

$198,000.00 - $297,000.00
