Business Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a Business Litigation Associate to join its Dallas office. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in all stages of complex commercial, civil, and business litigation matters. The role involves working with a diverse client base, including national and international organizations, and handling high-stakes litigation across multiple areas.DutiesRepresent clients in various business and commercial litigation matters, including consumer or shareholder class actions, merger and acquisition disputes, securities litigation, and corporate governance issues.Handle real estate financing and development disputes, product liability cases, and multi-district or multi-forum litigation as required.Participate in all litigation phases, from case initiation to resolution, including discovery, motion practice, and court appearances.Conduct legal research, draft motions, and manage complex case documents with a focus on e-discovery.Collaborate with the legal team on case strategy and trial preparation, ensuring effective client representation.RequirementsThree to six years of law firm experience in a litigation-focused practice, particularly in commercial and business litigation.Strong understanding of litigation procedures, including discovery processes and e-discovery practices.Experience in depositions, hearings, and oral arguments is advantageous.Excellent academic credentials, with a keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Exceptional writing, research, and analytical abilities.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.CertificationsActive membership in the Texas State Bar.SkillsProficiency in litigation management and procedural strategy.Strong written and oral advocacy skills, including the ability to present arguments effectively.Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple case components and tight deadlines.Collaborative team player with the ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and mentorship within a collaborative firm.Exposure to a wide range of business and commercial litigation matters at both national and international levels.Company infoBCG Attorney Search10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100HoustonTexasUnited States 77042Phone :
