CIBC.comAll the jobs necessary for underwriting new healthcare deals includinganalyzing, assessing, and opining on the financials of existing borrowers and prospects, and assessing their condition and viabilityinputting client and prospect financials into the banks modelengaging and communicating with clients and prospects to gather required information and obtaining answers to any questions that arise after reviewpreparing and completing loan presentations and credit approvals within the banks systems for all credit actions neededcompleting a risk analysis of borrowers and prospects via the banks risk rating modelrequesting appraisals through the appraisal department, and working collaboratively to assess and analyze the reportsuploading financials, covenant compliance certificates, and other reporting items into the banks collateral databasesmanaging the banks client relationship database (Salesforce) with existing transactions and future prospectswork to developing the skills and ability to appropriately structure a deal, including covenants and reporting requirementscomplete market research to compare the client to others in the local market, and becoming familiar with the various databases and resources that provide data, statistics and resources that can be utilized in the banks credit decisions (such as government websites, eCap Intel, and various other industry publications)At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
