As
Senior Director, Patent Attorney , you’ll lead the intellectual property strategy for Teva’s generic products in the U.S. market, providing critical advice to senior R&D and commercial teams to drive timely, low-risk launches. You’ll manage a skilled team of patent professionals across the U.S. and Israel, with a direct reporting line to the VP, Chief Patent Counsel.How you’ll spend your day
Collaborate with R&D to shape patent strategies and develop invalidity positionsDetermine ANDA submission strategy, in collaboration with regulatory affairsSupport the IP litigation team and advise commercial teams on product launch datesWork with global IP colleagues on manufacturing, API, and device clearancesCollaborate with IP litigation team and support as requiredAdvise Commercial/Launch Teams on potential product launch datesYour experience and qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from a top law school - required12-15 years in patent law, with experience in small molecule pharmaceuticalsAdmission to practice law in New Jersey or ability to obtain an in-house licensePrior experience managing a team of employeesExceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation and strategic thinking skillsStrong business acumenTechniques to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing prioritiesAbility to think strategically and tackle complex problemsAbility to identify, advise on, minimize business risks, and propose practical solutionsStrong customer-orientation; an ability to see issues from the point of view of othersAbility to work successfully and cooperatively with colleagues across multiple cultures and time-zonesSubstantive experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPointTravel Requirements:
