The Senior Attorney will manage their caseload, represent clients in court, and collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants. Location: San Jose, CA Duties: Advise clients on their legal rights and prepare legal documents related to their cases Represent clients at pretrial hearings and provide strategic advice after each hearing Manage court appearances, trials, and draft legal motions Interview witnesses and perform thorough legal research Analyze case outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents and provide case evaluations Gather and analyze evidence to support the client's defense or challenge prosecution's charges Prepare clients for depositions and develop case strategies by gathering relevant information from witnesses and experts Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring cases progress efficiently Requirements: 4-5 years of experience in criminal defense Experience managing complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications: Active membership in the California State Bar Skills: Strong legal research and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks Effective courtroom presence and trial skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid parking Paid time off Opportunities for career advancement within the firm Company info Chief of Staff to Chief People OfficerSummaryWe’re looking for a self-driven, well-organized, results-focused project manager and influencer who can help us move our ambitious people strategy forward.
