Product Releases:
With engineering as the primary persona, this workflow focuses on how to create a new feature, ship to the right users at the right time, and understand user impact all in one place.
Feature Experimentation:
With product and data as the primary personas, this workflow focuses on how to make better decisions on what features to ship with confidence by making behavioral data and advanced statistics easy to use for everyone on every platform.
User Targeting:
As product teams learn what does and does not work for different audiences, it becomes clear that there is more than one right experience to help users get the most out of the product. This workflow focuses on how to create different versions of features that are targeted to different user audiences to maximize business outcomes.
As a
Product Manager
for Feature Experimentation, you will:
Connect deeply with customers to understand their needs and discover opportunitiesDetermine strategy across the entire product surface to make world-class feature experimentation more accessible and radically simple by companies with different experimentation maturityBecome a thought leader for experimentation, driving best practices both internally and with our customersWork with other leads in the product org to discover collaborative opportunities where analytics and machine learning can leverage experimentation, and vice versaYou'll be a great addition to the team if you have:
Run experiments as part of your product development practiceFamiliarity with data science and statistical methods (or willingness to learn quickly!)Prior experience shipping product features with design and engineering teamsStrong eye for good UI designComfort with ambiguity and change at a fast pace - as a new product, what we plan today could change tomorrowGood judgment for which problems to lean in on and which to leave alone (i.e. be good at knowing what to "say no" to)Have a strong habit of using data and analytics to inform your decisionsConsistently follows up with your work to understand the outcome and learn from your mistakesHave a habit of setting ambitious goals and can consistently achieve them through a clear strategy, disciplined execution and strong collaborationWho We Are
