Facility Automation Systems Manager

Facility Automation Systems Manager will oversee and operate the Building Automation System (BAS) for all facilities at the account, collaborating with key Facility Management personnel at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing BAS system graphic and logic, resolving sequence issues, and ensuring daily monitoring of platform operations.Key Responsibilities:Analyze performance, inventory control, and quality assurance.Assist the onsite building operations team with troubleshooting and repairs of HVAC systems, with a focus on BAS controls, system components, and networks.Knowledge of mechanical system equipment, including implementation of sequence of operations, graphics development, and creating front-end functions for BAS systems in new and existing buildings.Monitor the operation of the BAS and HVAC systems, including alarm management, performance, programming, building occupancy schedules, and other systems. DDC controls knowledge is required.Maintain HVAC and DDC controls skills through self-study, corporate training, and workshops.Consult with business unit management to identify and document service delivery needs and objectives.Provide technical HVAC and BAS assistance in system and program development.Input work orders and complete self-assessed work orders in a timely manner.Develop, coordinate, and implement quality assurance procedures.Requirements:Tridium AX & N-4 Certification required.10 years' experience with control systems such as Trane, Tridium, Niagara, Distech, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Honeywell Building Automation System components and integration.Prior experience in the controls industry and PM/HVAC/BAS/CMMS Analytics.#300
