Summary

QTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals. The successful candidates will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs. The chosen candidate will coordinate priorities with the Team Product Owners. Together, they align backlog priorities with stakeholder and customer needs. The candidate will also support in developing and deploying CI/CD pipelines, automating software deliveries, and maintaining Software development pipelines.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:

Setting a strategic vision for the whole productAdvises top management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications; managerial/leadership experience or necessary skillsDevelop and communicate the overarching product vision across the product teamsCoordinate and prioritize requests from multiple stakeholders across different productsWork with teams to identify modernization and continuous improvement opportunities for their products and servicesCreate and manage a single, prioritized backlog to be delivered by all of the teamsDecide which metrics the Product Owner Team will monitorAssess customer product feedback and adjust the common backlog accordinglyLeverage the continuous delivery pipeline to release value incrementallyCollaborate with Scrum teams as well as ManagementAccountable for the efficient delivery of product increments according to the PI PlanMeet with Management, the customer, and other key stakeholders on a regular basisAllowing Leadership and other stakeholders to express their preferences to the PO Team, negotiate priorities, alter budgets, or realign teams to maximize the delivery of value.Assist in the application administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer programMinimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree with 14 years of experience or Masters degree with 12 years of experience or equivalent professional experienceRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience leading and managing software development, working as a Product Owner, or developing software/systemsStrong communication skills, able to tailor the message to different audiencesExperience using tools and techniques for project planning and leading complete SDLC effortsExperience with Agile practices such as daily Scrum and PI PlanningGood working knowledge of MS Office productsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as neededSelf-motivated and customer-oriented with the poise and flexibility required to work in a highly dynamic environmentDesired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Working knowledge of Ballistic Missile Defense concepts, defense communications systems, and the BMDS in generalSoftware Development/Testing experienceLed strategy and management of Product portfoliosExperience working as a Product Owner in Agile software delivery teamsProficiency in producing, organizing, and sharing knowledge articles and tracking work items using Atlassian Confluence and JiraExperience working with the leading DevOps practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab, CI/CD, Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible Tower, and Nexus Pro)

Security Clearance

Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.
