Overview
VTG is seeking a
Subject Matter Expert (Contracts & Acquisition) to
support our CPS Program. The position is located at our
Washington, D.C.
office and will be a
hybrid role.
What will you do?
Advise Government program leadership on procurement planning, contract strategies, contracting procedures.Assist with review and validation of shipbuilding, system development, and weapon system integration contracts and negotiations.Review and advise on program acquisition strategies and acquisition plans. Provide written assessments and recommendations.Assist with developing and review of Limited Source Justification and Authorization (J&A), Determination and Findings (D&F), and Source Selection Authority (SSA) documents and reports.Provide guidance, review and validate Source Selection Evaluation Plans.Assist with acquisition and contracting efforts associated with transition from the Rapid Prototyping phase into Rapid Fielding under the Middle Tier of Acquisition construct.Mentor and coach DoD/Navy contracting team leadership and staff.Participate in Government and Industry meetings, including but not limited to program reviews, working groups, all-hands, etc., as required.
Do you have what it takes?
15-20 years civil service or relevant industry experience in DoD Acquisition and Contracting Policy and FAR/DFARS.Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree.DAWIA Level III – Contracts or Program Management, preferred.Strong Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform efficiently and effectively on multiple projects under tight deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with senior Navy program leadership.Eligibility for U.S. security clearance.Minimum travel may be required in the US.Pay Range: VTG’s estimated hourly range is $90
-$110 which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range
