What You Will Achieve

The Digital Solution Engineer is responsible for developing and deploying solutions that progress the objectives of our Global Workplace Experience partners. They will require an innovative mindset as they work across advanced technical capabilities such as IoT platforms, Space Performance, Energy Utilization, Data Insights, Integrations, Artificial Intelligence, ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and more. They will achieve results by collaborating across the Digital organization to effectively introduce and advance digital capabilities that enhance the colleague workplace experience, increase security, and drive efficiencies.

How You Will Achieve It

Drive technical design and implementation of IoT platform, sensors, and connected systems to provide capabilities and insights for optimizing Space Performance, Energy Efficiency & Sustainability, Health, and Operational Efficiency.

Design, develop, and deploy new technical solutions and enhancements to existing solutions in collaboration with third party vendors and internal stakeholders.

Design and drive implementation of hardware and software integrations between internal and cloud-based systems.

Lead development of data models and solutions to drive insights across the global portfolio of workplaces.

Contribute to establishing technology standards for business solutions that account for sites of varying size, complexity, and budgets.

Participate in collaboration across the Digital and Global Workplace Experience organizations to develop the strategy, standards, and process for leveraging innovative technology.

Perform hands-on proof of concept implementations and partner with architects and other Digital partners to determine feasibility.

Oversight of vendors and contractors as needed.

Effectively collaborate with business partners and peers to achieve business goals and objectives.

Collaborate closely with enterprise architects to ensure adherence to Pfizer enterprise technology standards.

Work closely with information security to ensure compliance with Pfizer cyber security requirements.

Ensure delivery of solutions are on-time, on-budget, and inclusive of the scope committed to the business.

Balance working across numerous concurrent project teams.

Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business, or an affiliated field.

7 years in IT related role with 4 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise level solutions.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Self-motivated and flexible with the ability to work effectively and independently in a dynamic problem-solving environment.

Innovative mindset with strong delivery-oriented values.

Broad knowledge of corporate enterprise systems.

Nice-to-Have

Master’s degree in relevant discipline.

Experience producing ESG insights.

Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical building management and metering platforms.

Relevant biopharma experience.

Training and/or experience leveraging Agile Methodology.

Demonstrated ability to produce positive outcomes working in matrixed teams that span multiple functions.

Experience designing, developing, and/or implementing workplace solutions.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Occasional additional hours in the evening or weekends as necessitated by workload, project timelines, or meetings with global vendors and peers.

Domestic and International travel up to 20%.

Work Location Assignment: Must be able to work in assigned Pfizer office 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the business.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
