Associate Communications Director

With an emphasis on project management, the Associate Communications Director will support overseeing and executing established workflows for the division's units/initiatives. They will serve as an extension of the teams they work with, acting as a go-to resource who executes and alongside the team manages, a large volume of fast-paced student-focused projects centered on communication plans/campaigns. This position manages tactics that span digital, social, print, email and web channels, working to increase visibility/awareness of SE distinct services, programs and events with key audiences.
The Associate Director works to execute established workflows/tasks, pertaining to the creation of project tasks, copyediting, in addition to internal/external approval systems and University guidelines such as the Editorial Style Guide. Under the direction of the SE director of communications and marketing, this position will support the coordination and alignment of the division's efforts with the Division of Marketing and Communications' overarching brand direction alongside the SE student-focused design guidelines and overarching calendars. They will directly supervise one coordinator and will support leading the Student Experience Division internship team as well as collaborates with central communications/marketing to ensure all aligns with the central communication/marketing plans, content strategy & editorial calendar.
