The attorney will work closely with employers to provide counsel on a wide range of employment matters, including wage and hour issues, medical leave, accommodations, disciplinary actions, and terminations. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative, innovative environment, providing top-tier service to clients.Location:Duties:Advise employers on employment law matters such as:

Medical leave and accommodationsWage and hour complianceDisciplinary actions and terminations

Draft and revise employment policies, procedures, and agreementsConduct workplace investigationsCollaborate with clients to develop solutions that mitigate risk and meet their legal needsRequirements:Minimum of four years of experience in labor and employment law, particularly in advising employersAbility to independently research and analyze complex legal issuesStrong writing, communication, and analytical skillsEager to work across different practice areas and deliver client-focused solutionsExperience with public entities or charter schools (preferred but not required)Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Admission to the California Bar (required)Skills:Expertise in employment law and employer counselingExcellent legal research and drafting skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to collaborate with a team and provide innovative solutions to clientsProfessional growth opportunities, including substantial client contact and practice development supportCommitment to diversity, inclusion, and career progression
