We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney to join a growing Labor and Employment Law practice in California. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in general litigation or labor and employment matters. This role offers the opportunity to handle a variety of employment-related cases, including class actions, single plaintiff cases, and general employment counseling.Duties:Manage and litigate labor and employment cases, including class actions and single plaintiff cases.Provide clients with general employment advice and counsel.Conduct and defend depositions, draft motions and briefs, and manage the discovery process.Participate in evidentiary hearings, status conferences, and argue dispositive motions.Assist in trial preparation and actively participate in trials.Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations based on findings.Collaborate with legal teams and clients to ensure the highest quality of representation.Requirements:3-5 years of general litigation or labor and employment law experience.Strong research and writing skills.Proven experience handling discovery, depositions, and drafting motions.Familiarity with class actions, single plaintiff cases, and employment law counseling.Ability to argue motions and participate in trials and hearings.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases.Strong communication skills to interface with clients and legal teams effectively.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to practice law in the State of California.Skills:Exceptional legal research and analytical abilities.Proficiency in drafting pleadings, briefs, and legal documents.Excellent oral advocacy skills for arguing motions and conducting hearings.Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask effectively.Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
