The successful candidate will have an excellent academic record, significant experience in employment litigation, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Must be licensed to practice law in the U.S.Duties:Defend employers in litigation involving single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases.Handle ERISA litigation and provide legal advice on related employment issues.Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies.Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and court appearances.Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with clients.Manage a diverse caseload effectively, ensuring timely progression and adherence to legal deadlines.Stay abreast of changes in labor and employment law and regulations.Requirements:4-7 years of experience in employment litigation matters.Demonstrated experience in defending employers before agencies and in court.Excellent academic background with a strong understanding of labor and employment law.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.Proven ability to handle complex cases and manage deadlines efficiently.Must be licensed to practice law in the U.S.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the bar in the state of California or eligibility to obtain admission.Skills:Expertise in employment law, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and ERISA litigation.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting detailed legal research.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.Capacity to manage high-pressure situations and handle a varied caseload effectively.
