The ideal candidate will have significant experience in drafting transaction documents, managing due diligence, and leading both specialized and junior teams.Duties:Represent financial sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers in M&A and private equity transactions.Handle leveraged buyouts, sell-side transactions, growth equity, minority investments, and related strategic deals.Draft transaction documents and lead negotiations.Oversee due diligence processes and coordinate with other legal specialists.Supervise junior associates within the corporate team.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in M&A and/or private equity transactions.Proven background in a corporate department of a top-tier law firm.Strong understanding of transaction structuring and legal considerations in private equity and M&A deals.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California Bar.Skills:Proficient in drafting and negotiating complex deal documents.Strong leadership abilities, with experience supervising junior associates and coordinating with specialist teams.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple transactions simultaneously.
