POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team specifically for the Specialized Treatment for Optimized Programming (STOP) Area Six, a program of HealthRIGHT 360. This program connects California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation inmates and parolees to comprehensive, evidence-based programming and services during their transition into the community. Priority is given to participants within their first year of release who are assessed as moderate to high risk of reoffending. Area Six encompasses San Diego, Orange, and Imperial counties. This position is essential for ensuring the safe transportation of clients and the efficient management of vehicle-related tasks and documentation. This is a union position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Transportation:Safely transport clients involved in the STOP Program in a company-provided vehicle, adhering to all applicable federal and state driving laws.Maintain appropriate boundaries with clients at all times.Ensure routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, and fueling, while keeping all related documentation up to date.Administrative:
Enter transportation activities into the company database and file related paperwork.Prepare and maintain vehicle usage reports and logs.Reconcile invoicing and maintain backup documentation for transportation services.Communicate with California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) personnel as necessary.Perform general clerical tasks, including typing, answering phones, and filing.Data Management:
Create, update, and archive client files in accordance with departmental procedures.Ensure client files meet contractual compliance and confidentiality requirements.Oversee data entry into electronic systems and conduct compliance checks.Resolve discrepancies by contacting preparers of source documents and confirming data accuracy.Other:
Attend required training and meetings.Maintain project documents and submit reports to the Program Manager.Serve as backup for the Transportation Coordinator as needed.Flexibility to work weekend shifts as required.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Class B license preferred.Experience in transportation or a related field is preferred.Knowledge of transportation equipment for physically disabled.Knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance.Ability to read and interpret maps.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.Proficient in basic computer applications and data management.Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries.Bilingual preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
