Job DescriptionJob Title: Graphic Designer
Location: San Francisco CA or San Jose CA (hybrid)
Duration: 2+ Months (high possibility of extension)
What you'll do:
• Concept and develop creative for video, social, onsite, offsite display, and more.
• Review, strengthen, and approve adjacent creative projects by outside agencies.
• Work closely and effectively with diverse teams-including copywriters and designers, videographers, social strategists, marketing managers, and planning partners-to drive creative work forward within the context of the business.
• Present creative to key stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
• Execute work that is engaging, data driven, and aligns with our brand's aesthetic, standards, and needs.
• Ensure that visual style is consistent across teams and channels, aligns with brand, and meets accessibility/platform standards.
• Serve as a leader within the Sneakers vertical and the point person for creative (alongside the Sneakers Copy Manager).
• Occasional travel to Sneakers events and video/photoshoots is expected.
What you offer:
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, New Media, or related field.
• 5+ years graphic design experience, including motion graphics, responsive design, and additional territories-video, photo, print, and more.
• A stellar portfolio that represents a wide range of complex, creatively diverse, high-profile brands and projects.
• Strong concepting skills-the ability to build an idea into creative that cuts through.
• Expert creative knowledge in desktop, mobile, display and social spaces/technicalities/best practices.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required; After Effects/Cinema 4D/Blender is a plus.
• Understanding of Figma and how to use it to create and collaborate.
• Strong typography and composition skills are a must; hand-drawn elements are a plus.
• A keen eye for detail, bringing beauty and consistency together.
• A collaborative can-do attitude, openness to sharing ideas in an open forum, and ability to receive feedback and apply it constructively.
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while juggling multiple tasks from multiple stakeholders.
• A flexible attitude and a roll-with-it demeanor.
• A sense of humor and the photoshop skills to back it up.**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
