Where a job isn't merely a job but the start of a career where you can flourish.Job SummaryThe Operations Experience Health & Life Safety Ambassador is responsible for establishing a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all clients, executives, and staff members. The Operations Experience Ambassador will serve as an ambassador to the on-site technology support team while providing floor operations support to our customers and clients. They will assist either at the service desk directly or in conference/meeting rooms. They will have a level of expertise to assist all visitors quickly and can readily jump in to assist meetings when needed.RESPONSIBILITIES* Provide personalized and exceptional internal and external customer support with an emphasis on elevated hospitality per local Workplace standards.* Support health and safety initiatives for Chicago.* Manage Fitwel certification documentation and activities.* Complete various tasks to support the physical access control and security badge operations for Chicago.* Point of contact during business hours for responding to critical escalations from the Accenture Security Operations Center.* Manage and audit daily storage lockers.* Maintain health and life safety equipment and supplies.* Carry out instructions for security, fire, health, and safety and maintain records.* Monitor critical spaces throughout the day to identify maintenance issues and appropriately escalate, including door hardware and cameras.* Act as a point of contact for external providers (e.g., cleaning contractors, maintenance vendors).* Speak knowledgeably about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants and other points of interest.* Assist with any workplace position while showcasing a willingness to help wherever needed.* Respond to inquiries and anticipates customer/client needs.* Communicate effectively with clients, executives, peers and other stakeholders, displaying accuracy and attention to detail both in verbal and written communications.* Maintain a strong awareness of business activity and communicate all updates with your team members.* Communicate and interact effectively with all other departments.* Contribute to the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.* Other duties as assigned.KEY COMPETENCIES* A genuine sense of hospitality, with a commitment to delivering the Rapport standards in all aspects of the Operations Experience Health & Life Safety Ambassador role.* The ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and juggling many jobs simultaneously, while constantly interacting with visitors in a public environment.* Excellent listening and oral communication skills.* Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of office technology / equipment.* Punctual, dependable and dedicated to achieving operational excellence, down to the smallest of details.* Discreet, ethical and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.* A consistently professional approach, with a mindset to take ownership and responsibility within and outside one's job domain.* Can think quickly on their feet and complete all tasks, when prompted by the client or guest, in a timely manner.* An aptitude for acquiring skills in technical repairs and an eagerness to learn about new products and devices.* Creative thinker, able to work in tandem with the client on new ideas, projects, etc.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE* At least 2 years of experience in a hospitality or customer service role providing in person service and support.* At least 2 years of proven work in a professional environment providing customer support and administrative assistance.Apply to Flik today!Flik is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
