A law firm seeks a motivated Litigation Attorney with 2 to 4 years of experience in employment law to join its Santa Ana, CA office. This position is newly created to support the growing demands of the firm’s employment law department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collegial environment and possess the necessary skills to contribute to a dynamic team.DutiesDraft and file pleadings and discovery documents efficiently.Make both in-person and remote appearances in court proceedings.Conduct depositions to gather testimony and information pertinent to cases.Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.Manage cases from inception through resolution, ensuring thorough attention to detail.RequirementsA minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on employment law; class action experience is a plus.Proven track record as a litigation attorney, demonstrating both autonomy and collaborative capabilities.Strong legal drafting skills and an understanding of employment law.Valid California State Bar license, including compliance with mandatory continuing legal education (MCLE) requirements.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.SkillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interactions.Proficient in legal research and case management.Knowledge of MS Office and Office 365 applications.Trustworthy and collegial attitude, contributing positively to team dynamics.
