Seeking an experienced inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to work on a recently renovated 12-bed neuroscience critical care unit with the opportunity to support both IMC and ICU level of care.Care for adult patients with a variety of neurology, neurosurgical and stroke conditions that can include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, traumatic brain injuries, hydrocephalus, cerebral aneurysm, and other neurovascular diseases.Utilize strong critical thinking skills and provide interventions that may include vasoactive drips, hemodynamic monitoring, feeding tubes, drains, frequent assessments, and more.Work with a dynamic and supportive team of nurses that are an integral part of nationally recognized neuroscience programs committed to providing expert care.Job Requirements
ICU experience required. Neurosurgery experience preferred.Must be willing to work with ICU and IMC patient population.Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.Schedule Information
36 hrs/week, Day/Night, 12 hr shifts, 7-1930; 19-0730; every other weekend.Additional Details
Travelers are the first to float. May have shifts scheduled in multiple units and/or different locations within the organization.During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit.Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite.
