Certification Details Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state. BLS and ACLS – must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions). Job Details Join the 1 hospital in Wisconsin We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who: Would like to be part of the team in a Magnet® certified hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. Would enjoy growing their career in an academic learning environment. Appreciates the autonomy and flexibility of working in a variety of critical care settings such as Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU. Supports and/or engages in Shared Governance at University Hospital. Job Requirements Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. Floating - Travelers are the first to be floated. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. ICU experience with adult populations. Must be willing to work with IMC populations too. Must have experience with multiple ICU units (transplant, neuro, trauma, etc) Must have EPIC experience. Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years. Schedule Information Shift: 36 hrs/week, Evening/Night 8/12 Variable 8/12 hour shifts evening/night shifts Monday-Friday and every other weekend between the hours 1900-0730.
