ResponsibilitiesThe
Van Driver
is responsible for picking up and transporting clients to and from daily appointments and meeting places, providing assistance to passengers entering and exiting the vehicle, and delivering products when necessary. They must ensure the vehicle is safe and ready for transportation and report any service needs or issues. The Van Driver also plays a crucial role in providing quality customer service to clients and maintaining cleanliness in the vehicle.
This Position is Part Time at 20 Hours a Week, Monday to Friday 1pm to 5 pm. Pay is $17.00 Per Hour.
QualificationsEducation and/or Experience Required at Entry:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
1 year of relevant experience
Skills Required:
Good customer service skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Licenses/Certificate/Clearances:
Valid N.Y.S. Driver's License
State Central Registry Clearance
Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands:
Mobility to drive to and attend meetings at client's homes and community facilities, which may not meet accessibility standards.
Manual dexterity to work with children/adults in a challenging and active environment.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
