Responsibilities**This position is eligible for a $4000.00 Hiring Incentive**
The Operations Director
will Provides general oversight of the Supportive Housing program, including program operations and maintenance. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Position will manage overall operations and maintenance of Supportive Housing apartments, coordinate with supportive service staff and review work orders, coordinate with landlords and property management surrounding work orders, and identify and develop strategies to address safety issues. Additional responsibilities include supervision of maintenance staff and identifying and working with contractors to ensure repairs and/or unsafe conditions are resolved in a timely manner.
This Position is Full Time and Pay is $67000.00 per year
QualificationsEducation and/or Experience Required at Entry:
Bachelor’s degree and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience required, including experience supervising direct care staff and/or other supervisors; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
Thorough working knowledge of budgeting and leasing. Knowledge of standard home safety regulations. Ability to use computer systems, proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Oral and written communication skills.local and regional public and private resources, including Social Security,
Candidates with lived experience are preferred, and encouraged to apply.
Licenses/Certificate/Clearances:
Valid N.Y.S. Drivers License,
N.Y.S. Child Abuse Registry clearance.
Skills/Abilities:
Basic computer skills.
Creative problem solving.
Negotiation skills.
