We are looking for a

Client Director

to join our

Finance & Operations Practice . The

Client Director

is responsible for leading F&O client engagements, serving as a functional finance expert, driving sales efforts to bring in new clients and expand existing relationships, building and coaching our consulting team, authoring thought leadership, and driving best practices for our Finance and Operations portfolio.

Working with the practice leadership, you will contribute to building a team that is able to help our clients improve their businesses utilizing the technology as an enabler.

Ideal candidates will be able to:

Lead client engagements, serving as project lead and functional expert for our clients.

Use functional expertise to advise on client business processes including financial close, transactional reporting, integrated financial statements, FP&A, capital & people planning, forecasting & budgeting, strategic planning, financial reporting and Analytics, tax & treasury, and other similar processes.

Build and coach our F&O team with a focus on client success, working with a diverse team of consultants and architects.

Bring best practices to the table for project implementations.

Lead the team to deliver holistic client solutions.

Support Business Development activities for F&O including building proposals for clients, delivering client presentations, and working with channel partners and Spaulding Ridge Business Developers.

Support client demos and proof-of-concept projects for clients evaluating various technologies.

Lead project teams supporting multiple workstreams consisting of client-side personnel and Spaulding Ridge consultants while adhering to Spaulding Ridge’s delivery methodology and project standards.

Approach problems creatively and apply technology to solve business challenges.

Contribute to practice development through thought leadership, training development, internal intellectual property development, and management of internal practice processes.

Work with company leadership to recruit and mentor new talent, seek new opportunities, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and alliances.

Travel varies significantly; however, someone taking on this position should be prepared to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of prior work experience, ideally in financial management consulting and/or corporate finance role.

Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to define, influence, and drive change at executive levels and across the broader community of stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience in translating customer business needs into dynamic solutions that provide best-in-class value for our clients.

Experience in change management and business process mapping in support or conjunction with a major software implementation is a plus.

Expertise in financial modeling and analysis.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or Business preferred or relevant professional experience.
