In 2024, we were named Agency of the Year at the Content Marketing Awards.ABOUT THIS ROLETML@O is seeking a Digital Account Director to help manage its growing roster of clients. This role requires relevant experience and understanding of digital strategy, including social media and email programs. This is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about digital communications, marketing and data. You will lead communication with clients, set campaign strategies, produce and edit digital content and partner with vendors and a team of Graphic Designers.Digital Account Directors will be assigned to work in a specific channel focus and may collaborate with other divisions and teams as needed. This person will be asked to work on a range of projects, including longer-term and day-to-day/immediate tasks assigned by their team.The following digital focus areas are available:Social Media Management:
Overseeing content production, posting, community management, reporting, calendar management, etc.Email Marketing:
Overseeing content production, CRM and list management, testing, reporting, calendar management, etc.Copywriting:
Overseeing copywriting, specifically for digital channels including social media (LinkedIn, Meta, X, and beyond) and email marketing.Role location:
This role is based in our New York, N.Y. or Washington, D.C. office on a hybrid basis. The TML@O team is in-office at least 3 days per week.ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONSAs a Digital Account Director on our TML@O team, you will be…Managing day-to-day execution and leading strategic conversations with clients.Responsible for offering creative client strategies and tactics based on the ever-changing digital landscape to help clients achieve their unique goals—studying and capturing the most important details about the client’s needs, challenges and audiences, and creating strategic campaigns and targeting to address those needs.Overseeing the work of staff on client accounts, ensuring deliverables are on-strategy, delivered in a timely manner and capture the clients’ goals and priorities.Developing comprehensive digital strategies for clients, including 3-, 6- and 9-month benchmarks, content streams, tone and voice guidelines, etc.Developing dynamic content that tells our clients’ stories across a wide range of platforms.Reporting back to clients on social media, email and other digital campaigns.Working across account teams to bring digital engagement best practices to a diverse array of clients.Producing near-perfect drafts of more complex, challenging materials including messaging, strategy memos and proposals.Keeping teams focused and motivated on achieving client goals, including managing up to ensure VP+ contribute and drive strategy, and helping manage client relationships as needed.Actively managing and overseeing client budgets.Working with advertising vendors to develop and implement smart strategies for clients.Acting as a resource to clients and colleagues on digital best practices and trends.Collaborating closely with the management team to develop the TML@O team.Reviewing content produced by other staff members, including digital assets and strategy memos, often functioning as the final reviewer before a deliverable is shared with the client.Contributing to the business development process, as necessary.Essential skills:At least 6-8 years of experience running creative digital communications and campaigns.At least two years of experience in a client-facing role.An ability to lead and drive digital strategy for clients.A creative eye for identifying compelling content and packaging it to elevate a brand or campaign.A keen understanding of advertising and marketing metrics and their impacts.An ability to lead multiple accounts and handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels of company staff, clients and vendors.Reliable self-organization systems and strong attention to detail.Demonstrated research and problem-solving skills.Experience (directly/indirectly) managing staff, with the ability to manage, motivate and mentor team members.The strong desire to be a team player and the ability to work with a team to achieve group objectives.WORKING AT ORCHESTRACompensation philosophy:
Orchestra offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.Salary range
(commensurate with experience and skills): $110,000-$130,000Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents.Pre-tax Health Savings Account Savings Plan (HSA-SP) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA).401K with a 4% employer match and no vesting period.Generous paid time off (PTO).20 vacation days, 10 wellness days, 1 day for your birthday, collective PTO between Christmas and New Year’s Day, plus 11 holidays.Mobile phone reimbursement for data and minutes.
