A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Litigation Associate Attorney
to join their team. The ideal candidate will handle high-level legal matters from inception to conclusion while demonstrating strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The Litigation Associate will be able to work independently, contribute to business development efforts, and collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys to ensure the highest level of client service.Key Responsibilities:
Handle the strategic aspects of multiple legal matters, including research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct thorough case analysis and develop comprehensive case strategies.Participate in all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, trials, and appeals.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members to provide updates and legal advice.Manage client expectations and maintain high client service throughout the litigation process.Meet billing requirements while producing high-quality legal work.Ensure compliance with all ethical standards and professional conduct guidelines.Assist in business generation efforts, including networking, client meetings, and maintaining professional relationships.Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the firm’s collaborative culture.Attend hearings, mediations, and court proceedings as needed.Requirements:
Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Florida.Must maintain current license and meet Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements.2 years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm or through judicial clerkships.3-5 years of experience in litigation at a law firm is preferred.Education:
Graduate of a Top 25 law school or ranked in the top 10% of the graduating class from an accredited law school.Experience in a law school’s premier law journal is highly desirable.Certifications:
Admitted to the Florida Bar and eligible to practice in the state.Additional certifications or admissions to federal courts are a plus.Skills:
Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation and communication.Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases concurrently.Effective interpersonal communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional responsibility.Location:
