A law firm seeks an experienced Government Representation Attorney with a focus on land use matters. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience representing clients in land use matters and working with land use boards. This role involves handling litigation and providing legal guidance to various boards throughout New Jersey. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey and demonstrate a client-centric approach to legal services.Duties
Provide legal counsel on land use matters, representing land use boards across New Jersey.Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.Represent clients in legal proceedings, including arguing motions in court.Develop case strategies tailored to clients' objectives and analyze potential legal solutions.Prepare detailed correspondence and reports to update clients and provide legal guidance.Requirements
3-5 years of experience in government representation, specifically focused on land use matters.Proven experience with land use boards and associated litigation.Member in good standing of the New Jersey Bar.Strong legal research capabilities, particularly using Westlaw and Lexis.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications
Active New Jersey Bar admission is required.Skills
