At REDspace, we're looking for a strategic Director of People and Culture to lead our HR team. Ideal candidates will have experience in knowledge-based industries such as professional services, IT, or product development, with a proven record of nurturing environments where top talent thrives. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is an opportunity to shape REDspace’s vision, connecting business goals with inspired HR practices that attract, motivate, and empower our team. This is a hybrid role based in our Bedford, NS office, with a minimum of three days per week of in-office presence. About the Role. Strategic HR Leadership

– Develop and lead HR strategies that align with REDspace’s business objectives. Team Development

– Oversee a collaborative HR team by setting clear goals and providing mentorship. Advisory Role for Leadership

– Partner with leaders across the company as a trusted advisor. Employee Lifecycle Management

– Shape every stage of the employee journey, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, performance, and engagement. Employee Development & Engagement

– Design and implement programs that foster continuous learning and growth. Compliance & Best Practices

– Ensure alignment with employment laws and lead efficient HR operations. Skills/Experience. Post-secondary education in HR, business administration, or a related field; CPHR designation is preferred. 10+ years in HR with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. Passionate about innovative HR solutions and driving continuous improvement. Deep knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Skilled in creating and implementing talent acquisition and retention strategies. Well-developed communication and public speaking skills. Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships across all levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach. A proactive, collaborative leader who thrives in dynamic environments. High level of integrity and discretion. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Experience fostering an inclusive workplace through DEIB initiatives. Bonus Points. Experience in the tech industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
