The Marketing Project Lead coordinates and manages marketing and communications projects, including proposals, presentations, advertising, brochure development, events, and other marketing campaigns. Ensures adherence to company policies, consistency in message, and coordination of efforts in alignment with the Balfour Beatty brand. Provides support services for acquiring new business and for internal and external communications.Essential FunctionsLead, coordinate and produce responses to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and award competitions including research, writing, page layout, proposal graphics, and cover design. Includes managing the schedule, plan, strategy, assignments, follow-up, editing, and meetings.Write proposal copy, case studies, project profiles, and people profiles for review and editing by others, with minimal edits necessary.Coordinate with the team to ensure efficiencies in sharing and archiving resumes, proposals, presentations, boilerplate, graphics, and debriefs.Work with executives and business unit leaders to support the company’s market visibility.Coordinate photo shoots (people and projects).Participate in CRM updates and maintenance.Update and maintain client testimonials and references.Proofread, edit, and provide quality reviews of proposals prepared by self and others.Continually strive for benefits-oriented messages and visuals in qualifications, proposals, and other marketing communications.Support internal and external communications projects including award nominations, company e-blasts, newsletters, social media, and the website.Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors including photographers, design consultants, printers, and suppliers.Provide graphics and other creative support to all division departments and jobsites as needed.Participate in industry associations to professionally represent and promote the company.Provide support for and represent the company at events as needed.Minimum QualificationsDegree in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.2-4 years of marketing experience, AEC industry experience preferred.Proficient in Adobe InDesign and competent in other Adobe Creative Cloud products.Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills.Graphic design skills are a plus.Ability to apply Balfour Beatty brand standards to all content.Able to make decisions under tight deadlines and in the face of incomplete information.Able to organize people, tools, equipment, and other resources to accomplish desired results.Experience or passion in learning photography (people and projects) a plus.Able to create, manage, and revise schedules and related assignments based on project priorities.Exhibit commitment to quality, manage by data, and participate as a team player to meet/exceed internal and external customers’ needs.Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees while maintaining a focus on meeting customer requirements.About UsBalfour Beatty US is an industry-leading provider of general contracting, at-risk construction management, and design-build services for public and private sector clients across the nation.
