This person will have a fundamental understanding of the advertising and marketing industry with the ability to get under the skin of clients and understand what makes them tick. They must understand what clients want from the creative team and have the ability to deliver it. The Senior Manager, Creative Services will be a natural client services professional who will help build, inspire and nurture a strong client service team collaborating together with the creative team. This person will be a well-seasoned strategic leader and with the ability to help run and manage an effective, successful and culturally aligned creative agency.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manage client relationships at a senior level. Having a good nose for what’s happening with the agency’s clients, ensuring all relationships are healthy and intervening when appropriate.Partner with the Associate Vice President, Executive Creative Director on improving internal agency processes and how we function as a business.Develop client and traffic service principles and benchmarks to ensure that the internal agency is strategically leading clients and building strong, long-lasting relationships. Overseeing and ensuring that opportunities for new business are developed, pursued, and converted.Mentor business leaders within the internal agency, supporting them in the management and success of their teams, improving client satisfaction scores and account retention.Acting as the central conductor for the internal agency, supporting the senior management team, creative team, account services team and traffic support in improving operational processes, employee relations and client relationships. Understand and encourage the internal agency's culture and long-term strategy.Direct employee audits for client and employees, improving scores year after year.Keep abreast of marketing development and trends and actively network in order to identify growth potential opportunities for the internal agency.Develop and enhance the processes for the design and production of marketing materials across all channels (print, copy, web, displays, tradeshows, advertising, planning, etc.)Responsible for overseeing the entire marketing process from assisting our partner in putting together the marketing strategy. Work closely with senior management and clients to coordinate priorities and ensure accurate information that meets our business goals.Performs other duties as required.Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:10+ years marketing experience on both consumer and trade.5+ years of people management with experience in creative, traffic and account management.Marketing agency experience in brand strategy and creative concept development and execution.Strong management and leadership capabilities including the ability to provide sound direction and motivation to direct reports.Solid understanding of the operational processes and running of an advertising agency, and the business impact of being part of a global network.Creative and strategic appreciation understanding the value of great ideas and able to recognize strong creative work and how to produce it. Exceptional relationship builder with the ability to operate at a senior and strategic level with key clients and help resolve issues smoothly and effectively.Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and converting new business opportunities, understanding all stages of the new business process and ability to pick up a pitch at any stage and make it a success.Strategic thinker with an excellent understanding of key industry influences and the ability to apply this thinking to a variety of clients and brands.We know there's a lot to consider.
