POSITION SUMMARYUnder limited supervision, this position will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and qualifying cutting-edge components for Ebara's innovative technologies. With a focus on driving success, you'll develop strategic business plans and play a key role in advancing materials sales for Ebara's product lines. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact while contributing to a forward-thinking, innovative environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSInvestigate and identify options for part refurbishment, alternative component technologies, or supplies, and develop solutions accordingly.Serves as the technical liaison between component suppliers and development engineers, identifying new and alternative sourcing options.(Essential)In collaboration with account managers, develops commercial strategy and marketing plan for alternate components, new business opportunities, supplies, and/or upgrades to Ebara Technologies customers. (Essential)Travel as required with 25-50% of time spent visiting point of sales locations to assess effectiveness and identify channel and product improvement opportunities. (Essential)Support materials sales issues and materials escalations at customer sites. (Essential)Manage ECN customer communication. Manage EOL parts tracking and provide solutions for ECN and non-ECN parts. (Essential)Support evaluations/demos, troubleshooting in the field interfacing with engineering and customer's engineering groups. (Essential)Manages materials issues within the field interfacing with EBARA Corporation, and interacts with customers.Manage customers through qualification and transition of alternate components used in the company's technology. (Essential)Identifies, evaluates, and recommends new business opportunities, interacting with Engineering, Business Development personnel, and EBARA globally to implement new products. (Essential)Manage parts of business financial performance to plan for assigned accounts. (Essential)Train and mentor Business Development Engineers I-II. (Essential)It complies with EBARA's safety policies, including participating in and completing all required safety training. (Essential)Maintains a clean and safe working environment that is compliant with Ebara and customer safety policies. (Essential)
Qualifications
EducationBachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent technical experience in an engineered product industry.
ExperienceSix (6) or more years of work experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.Three (3) to Five (5) + years experience in CMP or Plating business, sales, or project management experience is preferred.Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Sufficient PC skills to manage information and prepare reports and presentations without support.Effective at speaking in front of groups, possess strong time management skills, and a proactive self-starter.Demonstrated leadership and program management skills.Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customers.Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.Provide verification of good driving record if servicing customers offsite.
