Day Description
Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for performing routine administrative and physical tasks related to the shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Duties include processing shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring accurate delivery and receipt of items per company procedures.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSResponsible for receiving all deliveries made and allocating them to the correct stock location or department.Unloading trucks. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices.Maintains records of shipped and/or received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items when necessary. Inspecting each product for damages to outside packaging. Noting damages on the Bill Of lading before signing for delivery.Break down pallets and remove outer packaging which requires the use of hand tools and power tools.Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Confirming quantity received matches purchase orders.Receiving orders into Finesse and updating inventory.Allocating each part or pump to the correct inventory location.May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.Train Material Handlers with their assigned job functions.Act as a lead in the absence of a supervisor.Complies with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training.Maintain a safety goal of 100%Complies with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training.Maintains a clean and safe working environment that is compliant with Ebara and customer safety policies.Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EducationHigh School diploma or G.E.D., associate's degree or equivalent experience.
ExperienceSystems & TechnologyPreferred :
1-3 years of experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.Must be proficient in using personal computing hardware and software to input and manage information, such as product details, weight, and tracking data.Basic understanding of digital file management processes, including archiving and retrieval, with experience in sending and receiving email communications.
Materials HandlingPreferred :
4-6 years of experience managing inventory, including performing regular cycle counts.Strong understanding of receiving orders and verifying deliveries.
Supply Chain KnowledgePreferred :
4-6 years of experience working with a freight forwarder, 4-6 years in warehouse operations, and 4-6 years of forklift operating experience.Minimum Requirement: Ability to differentiate between carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, etc.).
SKILLS & ABILITIESWorking knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Illustrator.Speaking in front of groups. Strong time management skills. Self-starter.Demonstrated leadership and program management skills.Working knowledge of material handling equipment.Working knowledge of shipping and receiving protocol documents.Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customers.Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.
